Mazda Demio: The 2008 World Car of the Year. Enough Said!

The Demio is among the best cars to ever leave a Mazda factory. Small, compact, cheap and reliable, this vehicle has become a popular vehicle with many fans of subcompact vehicles. Glowing reports of the vehicle have been written in writing research paper, blogs, and forums and even in custom term paper writing, and it comes highly recommended from just about any person that has used it.
The Demio was first released to the market by Mazda in 1996, a time when the company was undergoing some pressure from negative press reports. Surprisingly, the vehicle became a hit in Japan, outranking already established vehicles like the Opel Meriva, and the Fiat Idea. Production began in July 1996 and was sold as the 121 outside Japan.
Mazda subsequently released the second generation Demio in 2002, where it continued to sell as the Demio in Japan but as the Mazda2 in other parts of the world . They were designed in Japan for three target demographics. Cozy, which came in special colors and optional sunroofs, was for single women. SPORT was designed specifically for young men while Casual was designed for young families. It pushed Mazda’s domestic sales to 7th place at a certain point.
The third generation is built on Mazda’s new DE platform . Mazda released three versions, the Japanese version, the European version and the North American version. The North American version was the first Mazda to be marketed in the region after production of the Mazda 323 ended in 1994 and 1995 in the United States and Canada respectively.
